Despite chilly and wet weather, approximately 500 riders of all ages showed up for the 22nd annual Drug Abuse Resistance Education Bike-a-thon, sponsored by Prior Lake Rotary. A fun run preceded the bike ride, which started and ended at Lakefront Park.

Teams take the frigid plunge for Special Olypmics Minnesota, raising more than $74, 000 at Sand Point Beach in Prior Lake. 2011 was the fourth year local law enforcement has hosted a Polar Bear Plunge in Prior Lake.
